Weavers School sought an ICT partner when it gained technology status in order to move quickly to make maximum use of the technology available. Rutland ICT changed the system to a fibre optic network, which permitted each room to have a compter for attendance and lesson monitoring. Secure work station design reduced damage and allowed a full refubishment programme to take place within one academic year. The firewall allowed hackers to be identified and employing talented stuents for ICT maintenance was an innovative idea. Everyone uses email now and the e-portal system is based around our ICT data team. The school made great strides with Rutland ICT who provided a professional service at a competitive price. Outsourcing the work allowed Weavers school to concentrate on teaching and learning whilst having expert ICT advice on site to call upon.
